I don't know that any of them will get you closer to attribution and licensing, but it's a start. They do establish that the photo's seen pretty heavy comic photoshoppery elsewhere, but that's clearly not the same thing.

Thank you for pointing out that search engine. I've been wanting direct image search (as opposed to keyword-based search) for ages but didn't know it was out there.
