this riddle is really bothering me because i cant figure out what the fuck the answer is

What is greater than God,
More evil than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it, you'll die?

if you know the answer please post what it is...i know its something simple

The answer is "nothing"

thank you so much. i knew it was something simple. the place where i found the riddle said that when asked, 80% of kindergarten kids got the answer, compared to 17% of Stanford University seniors.
