Does Frat Boy go to Denmark to look for his grandad?

To deliver a letter from his late father (written when his father was young) to his grandfather. The letter is a key plot driver since it's in Danish and frat-boy can't read Danish. There is, indeed, a scene where he tries to translate it using Google translate or similar and it's not very good.
The frat boy and his pal are also just planing to hang out in Europe and get drunk and laid There is Movie Script Writing Plot Tension 101 as frat-boy's pal has bought his girl-friend along.

I should say that I would hope Frederikke Dahl Hansen is destined for better things than this and being boy energy vampire's love interest.

Your description of the setup in terms of the technoeconomic modes of production reminds me of a scene in "Gravity's Rainbow".
