Hope?
After a long stretch of getting rejections and spam, there is a sign that the streak is ending. Maybe. Sorta. One of my short flash fiction stories has made it through the first elimination round of a very excellent contest. Hooray for validation! In a couple weeks I'll know whether or not I've placed. The judge is a literary agent, too. Hope hope hope.
