I could not find any mention of using the maple flavor in the instructions; is it incorporated in Step V, or elsewhere?

Can't wait to try these. Maple and ginger are two great tastes that I've never considered putting together.

The candied ginger works surprisingly well with maple. It's that spicy/sweet thing. I didn't try it myself until the past year or so.
