And good luck on the making friends! I totally understand the skirting around the necessity because it just feels so much easier at the time. Hopefully you won't have to get desperate and attend parties!

Making friends is not easy... but it's not hard either XD And I'm a persone who is really shy with strangers, so...
Just, for these days, try to sit every time in the same place, probably next to you there will be always the same people! That's help a lot.
Then... just wait for the exams: when you're reviewing something during the last minute, you'll find other persone like you, you'll talk (rant) together about this or that chapter of the book... and you're done XD

I finally made some friends, but lol I'm horrible, I don't remember most of the names. I'm so hopeless when it comes to names. XD

i was reading your entry in a train and thought i should comment after i come back home, so here I am XD
awwww <3 it was a short time but if it really helped you i'm happy~( oh, i guess i'm not that nervous too, but i don't speak english right now because i don't have to ne lol)
for me, first days at uni was horrible xD and well, now it's my 3rd year and honestly, i don't remember the names of ppl in my group XDDDDD it's only around 25 persons, and i'm not sure what their names are all the time xd oh well, but i'm not good in remembering names, right~ XDDD
you can make it~ just be yourself and smile~
(yeah my mom always tell me that smile can do big XD)
ok i'm so tired because of the journey so i guess that's all i can think of right now XD
and my train was delayed a bit but i spent ONLY 4,5h in it XDD
