I'm currently working on what will probably turn out to be a music post that will be at least three parts long that includes all of the music that I can't live without. And I'm being selective, too

I liked the Ryan surprise, partially because it's so weasely and something he would do, and also because it sets the stage for way too many awesome scenarios next season (especially with Michael's man-crush).
You know, I completely didn't even consider Michael's man-crush and the consequences (or at least the potential for hilarity) that has with Ryan getting the job. That's awesome.
Hi. When are you done with school stuff? And what are you doing next year? Was all this information hidden in between Heroes spoilers? I don't know. But you should update more often.
It is so awesome.
Also, I do believe I'm making an ass of myself over in the last.fm shoutboxes. WOO!
School itself is over, although I still have some loose ends to tie up. My next year is up in the air at the moment, but I do know I'm moving back home before August, and that's pretty much where my energy's currently focused. I haven't been up for a life update because so much of it is still in flux.
The problem with the shoutboxes is that they're so damn small--not that what I have to say is anything important, but still. I can't *both* mock Pete Wentz or the Pete Wentz fan brigade (just because) and also convincingly state that I really don't have a problem with the guy, and I thought he handled the nude photos thing pretty well, all in all, and so I got to give him respect, and I do like "Hum Hallelujah" quite a lot.
Hey, if you feel like it, you can stop by and see me before you go back to AZ. Or I could come and see you there. I have a few days of leave stored up....it could be fun.
I thought you knew? Since I asked for links to S1 (and you helped), and since I asked (a long time ago) for recs and I followed yours and I ended up posting about it? (I think?)
I like meta. It's just... there are certain people who just go too far in some of the communities. I guess I can understand if someone just says "It wasn't my favorite episode" or whatever, but when they over-defend a character and/or attack the real people in the community (whether or not they were in the wrong is also debatable)... it's just annoying. Stop overanalyzing! It's television (and good television at that), so if you don't enjoy it stop watching! And along with that idea, I'm just going to stop reading
( ... )
ITA on the meta thing; that is why I tend to avoid it to begin with, because it will inevitably lead to character assassination and over-identification etc.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about VM. It can get so frustrating sometimes!

Yep.
You're definitely not alone. I know quite a few people who feel the same way. I don't think anyone is 100% happy with this season.
