This amounts to less than half of the post I hoped to make today. My goal was to post the new chapter of Anywhere Out of This World, titled Ashes to Ashes (still a working title). I have the Andrew/Dawn part written and that's all fine and good. It's the Giles/Rachel/Eathan part that's the challenge. However, I'm not backing down. I've decided to

I'm sure the chapter will be worth the wait, hon. I haven't really gotten to chapter 28 of Choices, yet, either, so we can procrastinate together. ;)

So glad you reminded me!! I wanted to read 27 this morning with my coffee :)

I've almost got it done now. My beta's looked it over; now it's back to editing and maybe I'll be happy with it.

Typos are the bane of my existence. No matter how hard I look, I can't catch 'em all.

Glad you liked the chapter. Yeah, I figured with Angel and Buffy used to being leaders for so long, plus Buffy's typical one step behind on explanations from Giles, that she'd irritate Angel with her need to repeat stuff. Those two are alike, but in the wrong ways, LOL, so I imagine them grating on each other now that they're both adults.

The original ending to the chapter had Buffy taking a harder Slayer stance and pissing Spike off, but I just couldn't keep the angry tone and go into the next chapter...not for the Spuffy version.

They say that catching typos is easier if you look over the writing backwards. Never tried it, but I can see how it'd make things stand out.

Good observation about Buffy/Angel. They really are a lot alike. Angel's like what Buffy might be in 220 years!

Norrington, mainly. But anything pirates, plus anything Buffy. Mixing the two is just plain dreamy!
