Kitty happens to be stretched out on one of the couches of the Inn, feet kicked up in the air behind her and a pencil balanced between her lips. She's been working on her Physics homework for the year. Professor Xavier is allowing her to take the highest level and even that is just too simple. She's nearly got the whole year's worth done and they'

There is an Eight. A very excitable, bouncy Eight.

"Kitty!" He plops down across from her, grinning like a cat who got into the cream.

"I need your help."

The Doctor's appearance startles her at first but she sits up from her work and shuts her book, eyes wide and interested.

"With what, Doctor?" She thinks her school supplies away and raises an eyebrow.

"We're going to spread some Christmas cheer," he announces before dropping a small wreath between them. "We're going to decorate my younger self's TARDIS for him and I couldn't think of anyone more perfect to help me with the task!"

Kitty just grins at the idea alone, but quirks her head to one side, "Your younger self?" She hadn't known there was another Doctor in the Inn!

She stands from her seat and practically beams, "Can we start now? Can we?" She loves these sorts of things, especially on Christmas.
