The one where I bitch about my SGA fic.

*Points to title*. Yeah. For, you know, the two people on my f-list who care. Maybe.

So I was listening obsessively to "Tranquilize" by The Killers & Lou Reed, and thinking about SGA and DADT and whatnot, when John sauntered up and conveyed that he might, possibly, be willing to talk to me, as long as he didn't have to say anything important or ( Read more... )

You think this is good, but it will never surpass (in terms of depth and emotional subtlety, anyway) sardonicsmiley's Rodney's Glowing Healing Cock fic.

*snorfle*.

Oh God. I think that was exactly what I needed.

Nowhere, however, did I say this thing was good. At the moment what it mainly is is *frustrating* with a good side of *bloody weird*.

And my keyboard needs to stop putting spaces in weird places. I think the space bar is, like, tied to the s key or something.

I basically love sardonicsmiley, mainly because of Sophomore Slump, which amazingly I have not reread this month. *g* Although of course there is a WIP sequel so I suppose I actually am still reading it.

Well, you're more likely to actually finish something than I am, as past evidence suggests. After all, the world has still not experienced the true joy of my year-old SGA-as-the-Matrix AU.

Year old? Hm.

I have *70k* of unposted fic on my HD. At least. In two major HP fics - one finished, and I started that, like, three years ago (most of what I wrote then is now in the bin, admittedly). The other thing is probably better, but unfinished. Gah.

So, yeah. I am so great at actually finishing things. This one will be finished! It will! *determined face*

Writing is a good thing, even when the plot goes off in directions quite different than where you started (it happens to me everytime)

Hah, yeah. If a fic of mine doesn't evolve in the telling, that's a pretty good (or bad) sign that it is a dead fic. Without a soul. Ya know.

I hope this is going to be at least semi-living. Like, uh, grass, or something.

I think I broke the metaphor.

Anyway, hello! *waves*
