Its nice to see your planning to move on. I still have trouble stepping up to my father. However, over time the mighty lion seems to lose more and more of the fire in his eyes. Or maybe hes just consuming more alcohol. Funny how alcohol seems to stir or calm the nerves of a person.
Anyway, through my observations over the years I've noticed that a high percentage of your daily stress is family oriented. Seems to me that putting some space between each other would be the best solution. Sometimes parents and offspring need to seperate in order to grow closer. Even as I speak I am anticipating the move away from my mama.
How cool would it be for you to have your very own apartment? Probably would have to have a roommate, but who cares, the more the merrier. Plus, if your starving you could always drop by to say hello, and grab some food from your always providing parents. Thats what I would do. Free meal once or twice a week.
Sometimes I plan out the things I'm going to say to my father, and find try to the best way of saying them. But as always, nothing works with him. He makes everything complicated, when the only thing I was with him is a relationship. The way he treats my mother and the way he treats me, is about to make me pull my own hair out.
Over the years, the only thing that has changed about him is his form of punishment. He switched from psyhical beatings to mental beatings, and it gets to the point where I don't feel like myself anymore.
Unfortunately I can't afford an apartment on my own (sigh), but maybe in the near future I could move into an apartment with a few down-to-earth roomates. If you're having problems at home, we should talk over getting an apartment. Or just talk. =D
After I get a job that is, and find a way of getting a loan for college.
By the way, how closely do you live to Mount St. Helens? I've been waaaaaaaaaay too worried about you.
-Mayra. I always have a habit of killing a fun conversation.
