Isn't it funny that even in our loftiest visions and imaginings we still know that the rains will eventually come? Even in the farthest reaches of our disconnected desire to be somewhere else, feeling something else, anything else but this, we still prepare for something less?
I so relate to you in these times; I often envision myself in different worlds, even just walking around; imaginings that blend seamlessly with what I'm seeing around me. Indeed, it's as if that great and grand place of my daydreams is actually around me; perhaps that's our gift, maybe we just see beauty in reality that others don't, beauty that is always there, just a dream away. (Hidden by ugliness, but there just the same)
