I'm feeling kind of nostalgic and down today. This weekend was my 20th high school reunion, and for lots of reasons it wasn't possible for me to go, which is a bit of a bummer. Are you anticipating being able to get a library job by summer?

Hoping to get one - my contract where I am is up as of the end of spring term 2010. So I will have to find something! And adjunct work would be the worst, to keep on doing what I want to stop doing, at very low pay and no benefits. I'd rather go back into food service than be an adjunct.

Reunions are definitely one of those things that are a bit odd if you go, and more odd if you don't. Much sympathy on missing it.
