My first thought was that she won't vote for Obama because of his skin color, but knows that that is racist and bigoted and so didn't want to admit to it on national radio. But that's just an assumption.

We haven't been to the zoo in a long time... I should go. Gah. Finding the time is the hard part! *looks at clock* Yeah, I'm holding to my estimate that if we DO go to the museum, it will be at least 7:30 before we get there. At this point I'd rather not, and maybe go tomorrow during regular hours instead. I don't care about the wine-tasting bit anyway.

I am so with you on the voice thing. Listening to Bush has been bad enough; if McCain gets elected, I will not be able to listen to any radio for the next four years. It was another good reason to vote for Hilary; she has a great voice!

What happened with your museum visit?

We did end up going; as I predicted, got there around 7:30, stayed until 9 (turned out they were open till 10). So we ate dinner at 10:00! But it was nice to see it once more and we bought the exhibit book which will be nice to have.

Dinner at 10. I can't even imagine. I would be dead from the low blood sugar. I am dying if it's 6 and I haven't eaten! LOL.

I'm glad you went and had a good time.

Let me recommend that you read a book called "Learn More Now" by Marcia Conner. (I don't know if I've spelled her last name right.) The book was an eye opener for me with regards to some of dh's behaviors.

I did have a snack before we went to the museum, which helped. *g*

Looks like my public library system doesn't have it... *puts the book on Amazon list*
