Safely at sister's

Made the nearly 12-hour journey (11:42 to go almost exactly 800 miles) without incident. Stopped five times total, every two hours, basically. Two rest areas, and then gas and lunch at the midpoint, and two more rest areas. Not sure if I'll see Maggie; I may try to go to campus and say hi, as SO also wanted me to say hi and ask about something if I do see her. But haven't tried to get in touch yet.

♥ Thanks! Was just ducking back online quickly to see if it connected (some glitches happening), and now am off to wield the red pen and edit the P/H fic, which I printed last night to bring along... am hoping to get that finished and posted during this trip. Hee.

We just finished several HOURS' worth of sparklers and home fireworks -- no rain here, thank goodness, or the kids would have been most disappointed. Sorry you're so wet! {{hugs}}
