So, all those days when I get so much done?

This was not one of them. I slept late -- till, like, almost noon -- did a little archive tweaking, then spent over six hours reading Bond by annafugazzi which mordyn4 recced this morning. So yeah, obviously I thought it was good if I basically couldn't stop till I finished! An AU 7th-year H/D novel, some nicely complex plotting, generally good characterization ( ( Read more... )

I read part of it on Skyehawke, but she hasn't posted all of it there yet, whereas the whole thing is at ff.net along with some separately posted outtakes. *g*

LOL! I don't often read at ff.net because (a) it's hard to find good fic there, (b) good fic is usually posted elsewhere too even if it's also there, and (c) no NC-17 allowed and I LIKE smut. "Bond" skirts awfully close to that line and it wouldn't surprise me if it gets pulled sometime.

I am actually posting my major H/D WIP at ff.net though, because when I began writing it I didn't expect to go over R; I got enough readership there that when it DID go over R I sucked it up and am posting alternate, lower-rated versions of those chapters on ff.net. I hope they're sufficiently reduced in smuttiness. *rolls eyes* The things we go through...

Thank you! It's the Celandine Flower Fairy drawn by Cicely Mary Barker about 100 years ago, which I iconized.

Sounds much like my day. I did get out for a long walk in the still-90 degree heat, but other than that ...

Some days one just has to turn off the brain from any serious activity, I think.

I think it is well and good that you had a de-frag day! It is good for one's peace of mind.

Like you haven't earned a total slack-off day? Gimme a break! There are times I take those days whether I've earned them or not! Besides, you'll find yourself in the midst of school mayhem all too soon as it is. Enjoy yourself, hun!
