"Nine megs for the secretaries fair, Seven megs for the hackers scarce, Five megs for the grads in smokey lairs, Three megs for system source. One disk to rule them all, One disk to bind them, One disk to hold the files, And in the darkness grind them."

That's classic!! Thanks for sharing. I'm just thrilled that after 2.3 days of nightmarish time at work (just completely hectic) I can actually have my LJ on in the background. *phew*

Believe it or not, I have no problem with the principle of taxation either-- even being of the staunch libertarian mindset that I am. However, our tax code is in *SERIOUS* need of repair. It's way too complex and cumbersome and has far too many loopholes. It'd be nice to see it thrown out and rebuilt from scratch.

I'm still waiting on my tax forms. I've got one of them, but not the others. Fun stuff. I usually do my taxes as soon as possible. Although that may have to wait a month or so this year longer than usual. I usually use TurboTax, but have not the money to pay for it at the moment.

What's it like doing two state's worth? I've only ever done one set of state taxes.

Two states, not fun - three states (which happened one year) even less so. Being half of a married couple, living and working in different states - bleargh! One has the fun task of calculating what proportion of the income was earned in each state, and all that jazz.

So far I only have the W-2, there will be some other things to come in like bank interest statements, but since we don't own any property and investments are mostly IRAs, our taxes are relatively simple. Thankfully!

Off to meeting...
