Last Friday's CSA bag had: ~1 lb. okra, 1 summer squash, 1 head garlic, ~1 oz. dried tomatoes, 3 large yellow tomatoes, 1 small red tomato, ~2 lb. Asian pears, 3 small Japanese eggplant, 6 small onions, 7 hot peppers, and 1 enormous and twisty English cucumber.

There is some advantage to Oklahoma weather I suppose-- tomatoes. My friend here in Oregon only has little tiny green ones that are far from being ready to eat.

Yes, it's a complete tear-off since there were old wood shingles with composition shingles on top of those, so new decking, new everything. Except that they're taking the old metal ridgecaps and repainting those, then replacing them - part of the historical district requirement. Should be done by the time I get home tonight, woo hoo!
And eek, I need to go back and check on the tomatoes. Haven't done it in several days what with the roof and all. One of the plants was dying (heat, I expect) last time I looked, but there ought to be more ripe tomatoes by now...
