*grumps* I swear, if it gets rejected again, I don't know what I'm going to do, because Every. Effing. Thing. is now exactly as it is on the W-2, having been triple- and quadruple-checked.

What a pain in the neck. I didn't know that the efile COULD be rejected. I suppose it's better than being audited, but still - argh!

Apparently so. This isn't rejection because of any monetary anything, as far as I can tell. The only discrepancy I can see is that one line which I may have gotten in the wrong spot (and they don't exactly make it easy to figure out, since it's pull-downs). I sure hope this time it correlates and is accepted, because I don't know what else can be fixed.

Tax is still on my list of things to tackle. It's been there for some time. Hate it.

I don't normally mind doing taxes - for one thing we nearly always get money back - but I've never had them rejected before. :-(

we don't have the difference between federal and state forms, I guess that takes one opportunity for aggravation out of it.

When I talk to my (divorced) parents about tax my mother is like "now where did I put the shoe box with all those bills...." and my dad says:" Why, daughter, why would you need to look for anything, when it's all right here in the huge file I labeled 'tax' and subdivided by years and subdivided again by topics. DOn't tell me you're not keeping the same system,"
*LOL*

I fall somewhere in between those two. And actually your post gave me the kick in the butt and this morning when I didn't need to go anywhere I sat down and prepared everything as far as I could; now i'm waiting for two receipts, and once I got them, off everything goes!

Hope the rest of it will work out well for you!
