Christ! Newt Gingrich just came on Meet the Press and said that we are already in WWIII and we may as well accept it and get involved.

Well, I suppose in light of that, we should re-institute the draft and start firing missles.

Oh, Shinta, I so hope it won't escallate any further. But so many of us are so afraid, given the motivations of our governments and their delight in war. If only Frodo could be here to lend his wisdom:

"It is useless to meet revenge with revenge: it will heal nothing."

And so much of this is about revenge--for things most don't even remember. I just hate it soooo much.
