Yesterday was fun, I spent the morning helping kids make shaking noisemakers out of plastic eggs, spoons and lots of duct tape then the evening cooking black-eyed peas and watching Reign. Historical fanfiction is exactly what Reign comes off as. It is loads of fun, but sometimes you just have to handwave so hard about cetain things. (like their clothes are ridciluous for that time, but also they are just amazing costumes and dresses and I love the clothes even if they dont quite fit.) It combines my love of HS soap operas and fantasy. I enjoy it a lot.

Yes, I'm enjoying it as long as I turn off my historian brain. It helps that all the actors are good and some of them really hot.

Bash, right? I adore Bash. Also Craig Parker's character - though he is slimy and self-serving at times, I find him delicious. How far have you gotten?

Bash is cute but I really like Francis, I want to ruffle his hair. Not terribly far, in the first season and to the point where Mary gets drunk and kisses Bash while Francis' former mistress has moved back in.
