Moving forward

Jul 12, 2013 14:28

I just had a conversation with my parents about how its easier to break this lease than the one in Ann Arbor since this area of Michigan has a lot of people pass through. To say aloud, I don't want to be in Michigan anymore, especially not this part of Michigan feels amazing. A huge weight is off me as I start thinking about moving east again, ( Read more... )

Well, just like I said last summer when we were in this same spot - YOU WILL BE MISSED! I know we haven't gotten to see each other as much of late but it is always a treat when you come for a visit. However, I think this is the right move for you to make. You know you would rather get a job back East and it will be far easier to do that if you are out that way. Not to mention a built in support system out there. I still have the urge to be all grabby hands at you, for selfish reasons, but I know this is the right choice.

If a job wants me, I'd like their help in settling in. That doesn't have to be money just advice and some care.YES, THIS. And you need to give yourself time to get settled, not just start the job the day after you arrive ( ... )

I will find a way to visit you before I move, I promise. Since I have to give thirty days notice and arrange the movers, I'll be around for at least a month. I know it will be the right choice, being here sadly isn't as neutral as being in Ann Arbor was. Also I will find ways to come back out here since I do love to travel. Yes, oddly, I'd kind of prefer some time to be on the east coast before finding a job as in the two weeks, I was there before coming back, I was making good connections. I guess I just want to feel like I'm in a place to grow. This year has been so weird ( ... )

You barely even got a chance to get settled last summer, back home, and I know you were excited for some of the connections you were making and then you had to rush back here. And after this year? You deserve a little downtime to recharge. If your parents are offering you a chance to do that, then take it!

But yes, you must come for one last big hurrah here! I think, let's see...a graduation party next Saturday for my cousin's kid and then The Nephew is coming the weekend after that, for the whole weekend, and therapy every Tuesdays and Fridays. That is how my schedule looks atm, so whenever you are ready (and feeling better) to come for a visit, that gives you an idea of what my upcoming weeks look like.

Heh, yes, I'm loving Teen Wolf, I've already watched the entire first season and I'm up to episode 5 in season 2For my money, S2 is the best thus far. It was when I really started to get excited about the show. When I started first season, I got through the first three episodes and I wasn't feeling it overly hard, not enough ( ... )

I agree, season 2 is definitely the strongest but that's because they did a lot of good set up in season 1. Kate was interesting to me, I felt like she was almost auditioning for Supernatural, look at my badassness, look at it. I have such mixed feelings about the Argents, because they're all well acted but when they make the werewolves seem thoughtful, not a good sign ( ... )
