Lazy birthday

My original plan for today was to go out somewhere either to the DIA or the Detroit Zoo, but instead I slept in wonderfully long and late. It turns out that I needed it and then I went and enjoyed a nice lunch. I opened up my package from my parents which had homemade chocolate-hazelnut brownies, which are delicious, lovely earrings with a circle

Charles always wondered what Raven was up to when she giggled, it didn't suit her. Her laugh was richer and who she really was.

It was his job to find mutants, to show them that they weren't lost anymore though he missed how he had felt found by Erik.

I liked both of these a lot! I imagine that to be so true about Raven too.

Hope you made it to the zoo! It wasn't too terrible out yesterday, weather wise, but it wasn't a 'nice' day really.

No, I didn't. I spent a lazy weekend and then today ended up being odd. There was this thing called Founder's Day in the morning which had an all school assembly where the head of school's speak made me want to cry with frustration.

He talked about how the school is about relationships and passions and yeah, bullshit and talking to various teachers. All of them going you'll find somewhere else and this is just a step. The worst bit was yearbooks came out, I'm on one page, a side picture with the maintenance guy, we're support staff. I know its a petty thing but I hate it. I know I was appreciated but this just left me so aware of how they never took the time to find a place for me.
