Isn't Code Name Verity amazing? And oh, oh, I just finished For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreunde and it's so good! It's Persuasion as science fiction. You would love it!

Yes, it really is. I think about it at times and go wow. I've heard about For Darkness Shows the Stars and its on my list.

I think it is wonderful and strange that you share your writing with your family (re: your dad talking about your Yuletide fic). I could never do that but then again, my family is vastly different from yours.

I remember where you spent your birthday last year (it feels so weird to say last year, doesn't it?) - you came here and had food and a movie!

Heh, well, when I was in high school, we held Vampire LARPs at my house. My parents were introduced to my fandom side early on, this is just an extension of that.
