Turning of the years

I do really love my family but two days of sleeping on odd surfaces isn't fun while my shark week hits hard. Saturday was amazing as the day was spent with my brother and his family, they gave me a basket full of cooking oils, sauces, salts and dried things for my pantry. Isn't Code Name Verity amazing? And oh, oh, I just finished For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreunde and it's so good! It's Persuasion as science fiction. You would love it!

Yes, it really is. I think about it at times and go wow. I've heard about For Darkness Shows the Stars and its on my list.

Its okay, but it was a weird injury.

I think it is wonderful and strange that you share your writing with your family (re: your dad talking about your Yuletide fic). I could never do that but then again, my family is vastly different from yours.

I remember where you spent your birthday last year (it feels so weird to say last year, doesn't it?) - you came here and had food and a movie!

Heh, well, when I was in high school, we held Vampire LARPs at my house. My parents were introduced to my fandom side early on, this is just an extension of that.

Thank you, I'd somehow forgotten, its been a very full year.
