They are, they're complicated and there's a lot but I can do it.

It's a middle and high school. I'm not sure if you have middle schools in the UK but from ages 11/12 to 17/18.

Yesterday some boys had some trouble but I was able to help them get space. Then another teacher who knows the situation was able to take over. That's what prompted the tweet about kids living life so intensely, they went from having fun together to crying. It hurt to see but they're in good hands and I do feel like I fit.

That is a really rewarding age to work with. I never got to much myself since I was more working with preschool age kids but when tweens/teens really get into something, they get so fired up about it and it can be exciting to watch. Though, yes, they can just as easily go the other way on the emotional spectrum and be absolutely devasted about things. It's very intense.

I also got paid for the first time yesterday, two paychecks and I feel like I've gained another measure of adulthood.That's got to feel amazing. I mean, yes, you made money before but this is the first time you've really earned a salary, so to speak, and it has to be awesome to know that all that education and years of hard work is finally
