I don't know why this is just occurring to me now, but I should have taken you to the downtown library here. It is a pretty old two-story building and you would have loved the architecture to it. It also has a great children's library on the second floor, with a stage and a little puppet theater. I practically grew up in that library. I can even remember meeting Madeleine L'Engle there once and getting her autograph. :)

I think your thoughts on where you want to be in ten years sound absolutely lovely. <3

Well. things have changed towards some of that dream. Today I was offered a librarian job at the Roeper School in Birmingham, Michigan. So I'll be heading back your way and bubbling over.

Really? DUDE!! Awesome. I just looked it up on the map (yes, okay, I know nothing about my own state) and it isn't that far away. About the same distance as to Detroit, it looks like.

I know you didn't necessarily want to come back to Michigan, but it's a JOB, in a SCHOOL (which you will be SO good at) and I can hijack you every once in awhile! This is such good news!!!

Are you happy about it (despite having just moved your shit back east)? I am doing a little dance of joy right now at my desk - my curtains are open and I really hope the neighbors can't see me, lol.

Yes, and I'm glad to come back for this job as I really like this school. Its forty-five minutes from Ann Arbor so not that far. I've been bouncing all over the place.
