A Very Good Birthday

My birthday yesterday was really wonderful and as is normal with my family, its going to stretch for a while longer. I started the day by opening the package that my parents sent me which had some beautiful blue glass earrings and the Stacy Schiff Cleopatra book

Mine sometimes does birthday months or weeks depending on how far apart we all are. My parents are coming to visit next week so there will be more things then, which will be lovely.

And as for Macs, I LOVE MY MACBOOK PRO~ so I would obvs recommend one of those. This is the one I have (15", 4GB RAM, 2.4GHz processor, 250GB HD), but they're not in production anymore. The newer models are still just as fantastic, so it's not a problem.

I'll be buying from the computer showcase on campus and my instinct is to get something that can do a lot as I don't know what I'll be doing. This is the tricky part of not knowing where I will be working.

I'd rather get an incredibly good computer and know it will do whatever I need it to. I'll check with the computer guys about what the timeline on the new OS is and see what they recommend. Thank you.

I don't know anything about Macs, but I've always heard good things about them. I'm thinking about eventually saving up to buy one for myself. Love my gaming desktop, but I want to have something mobile too.
