I really liked that movie Becoming Jane.

Its one of my favorites. The fact that it came out around my birthday just made it extra special. I love Jane Austen's work and it had some of my favorite actors in it.

I actually play Jane in Milliways. I'm slowly going through canon with her which is why she hasn't been in for ages.

I like to sit around and RP on my birthday, and not be bothered by much of anything. But that's just me. One time my sweetheart had a surprise party for me. That was really fun, but it's just not the kind of thing you can plan for yourself.

Pictures of the haircut, y/y?

I'm planning on taking pictures when I get home and uploading them along with my many spring flowers pictures.

That sounds like a nice way to spend a day. I'm all for low key as I don't have that many people I know in the area.

Oh that sounds fun. The games club I was a part of in Wellington had that feel. There was this one couple who had what seemed like every board game ever.

So whenever we had our Friday night meetings, they'd bring most of them and it was a chance to try new things. I should email the couple I know here and see if they have plans since it'd be nice to get the few people I know here to meet.

Last year I had two of my friends from Ann Arbor over and we had food and played D&D.

That actually sounds like a nice birthday!

You play D&D? Have you seen this video - Roll a D6 - it's hysterical and awesome.

No, I haven't seen that video, I'll watch it. Yes, it was a really fun day, but I don't think that exact plan will work again sadly.

All those years abroad add up, I don't feel like I'm going to turn thirty.
