The AAA guy just left and was very helpful but apparently I need a new battery. He was willing to sell me one since at this point from Mazda, I'd be paying for service and only half of the price. I'll probably call him to get a new battery but this just makes me sigh because life is crazy at times. I've been recently planning my first solo road ( Read more... )

I've not yet had the car two years so I think it was just really cold.

Heh- batteries have a lifespan of about 4 years, IIRC? When one died on me a few years ago (in my now-deceased Ford Ranger), one of the warning signs was it wouldn't charge my friend's cell phone, when we were out and about. (via a car charger).

Thankfully, 'this time' I was warned by the guys at Firestone- I went in for new tires, and they do a check of all the car's systems. I also left that day with a new battery- I thankfully had the money to spare, and better to buy a new one than have the other one totally up and die on you in a random place-

Such as halfway between home and another state!

(Oooh. Road trip. *so envious*)

Yes, its going to be my first solo one and honestly the car's not yet two years old so I'm not sure what happened.

Agreed on the Dean/Castiel front - there's so much of a power differential there that it honestly just makes me twitch. Although Castiel is my favourite character.

Give me fandoms?

Yeah, I love them both separately but I can't make them work together in my head though I can see that there's chemistry between them. Just not really slash sort to me.
