natsume yuujinchou! It's been one of my favourites for a while <3 I think you should definitely check out the anime, the soundtrack just makes it all that much more soothing and awesome.

Also. Pandora Hearts makes me want to punch my computer right now /sob. I was full on ready to quit it forever last month, but who am I kidding? I'm going to be at the bookstore the day Gfantasy is released to see if I can try and understand any of it raw.

I'm working through the anime right now! It's really soothing. xD

ahaha, yeah, the last few chapters were a gut punch, weren't they? And I don't think things are going to get easier as the manga goes on, but hey, at least it'll be interesting! :D?

Happy belated birthday! :D

Natsume is a lovely series, I'm really looking forward to the third season of the anime. It's true that it reminds a little about the early volumes of Holic - hearing that was what made me start reading it in the first place - and it definitely has a very relaxing and gentle atmoshpere to it. All the characters are so awkward and endearing, too.

Holic OAD? What Holic OAD? Ah, I know, that was just too depressing. I haven't even been able to watch it with subs yet, I know it will just break my heart all over again.

... And PH, ugh. So cruel. I almost hate that I care so much for the characters in this series, it makes it so painful when things like that happens.

Belated birthday wishes are the best. ♥ It's like a birthday all over again!

You know, when I started NY one of the very first things I thought was, "wait, that's where her icon comes from! pretty!" xD

I watched the Holic OAD with subs and I still don't get it. Or maybe it's just that I don't want to get it. -_-

PH: after we saw that Reim had lived, I had a really bad feeling that whoever was in danger of dying next wasn't going to get a pass. ): Though it's funny because I had really thought Oscar was going to kick the bucket first...

True, haha. Why compress them all to one day?

I love the Natsume artwork, especially in the later volumes - it's so sketchy and flowing and fits the story perfectly. The art style in the anime is nice too, but rather different from the one in the manga.

I wonder if anyone besides Ohkawa got it. Wasn't there some interview a while ago where the CLAMP members were asked how they felt about the ending of Holic, and Mokona and Nekoi (I think) were both all "uh, actually we need to go back and reread it to understand what happened"? That pretty much says it all, I think. XD

I suspected that someone in the PH cast would die during the party too, given the ominous feeling that the preceding chapters had to them, but I never thought it would be Elliot. I mean, it was obvious that the things he said to Oz when they first met (about self-sacrificing, etc) would be of big importance at some point later on in the story, and I was half-expecting it to be in an ironical sense, but still.

ahahaha, I'm starting to think Ohkawa needs a stronger editor. At least for her endings. /o\ Though that's hilarious that Mokona and Nekoi said that. At least we're not the only ones? xD

Yeah, I did not expect Elliot to kick the bucket so soon (or at all). It was obvious he was going to be important, but I thought maybe it was because they were going to confront the Nightray family and go back to Fianna House to investigate it...? Though I suppose that did happen, in a sense, through the flashbacks. Gah. /o\

I'm actually really worried about Echo now. I don't see things ending well for her in any case, and if JM is willing to kill off Elliot...

Hey, lady. Nice to see things are going well for you. Things are OK over here. Keeping busy. Sending out job applications and have had two interviews, one of which didn't work out but we'll see about the second. Also, FEELING WRITERLY. Y'know, as far as fiction goes. I always forget that I do technically write for a living, it's just a different kind of writing. :)

Also, saw the new Pirates movie. Mindless piratey fun, I enjoyed it for what it is. :) Also, I continue to love Jack's antagonistic relationship with Barbossa. Plus, LMAO Jack and his love interest. He clearly cares about her but is still so deeply Sparrowish. Sad lack of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly, though.

I plan to see Thor by myself tomorrow since no one else here wants to see it with me.

Also, maybe drop by Starbucks and start some fiction writing.

Memorial Day weekend is going by too quickly! And I still need to clean my apartment and do laundry. Although I plan to also put on some music and dance around my apartment while I CLEAN ALL THE THINGS.

ahaha, I think you'll like Thor. Just...forget how Norse mythology is supposed to go and you'll be fine.

hey, at least you're writing everyday! Are you still thinking about the YA journalist thing or something else?
