I'm still very unsure of what to believe when it comes to Glen and his motives, but he's definitely a fascinating character. I hope we find out more about him soon, and about Lacie too. There have been many interesting revelations (or at least semi-revelations) in the manga lately, so hopefully it will continue like that in the upcoming chapters.
I was shocked that the grave from the beginning belonged to Lacie. I figured it had to have been either Jack's or Glen's.
(...though now that I think about it, why in hell is Lacie buried on the grounds of the mansion where the Vessalius coming of age ceremony is held? Could it be that she lived there? Or that Glen did? At some point, Jack brought Alice out of the tower (to go to the gardens at his house, right?) and we see Jack and Alice standing at the grave in Alice's memory. So maybe it's Jack's house? That would make sense, since it seems the Vassalius' still use the mansion, but then why is Lacie buried there
( ... )
I figure the clock on Oz's chest might be a metaphor for how far into the story we are so far.
That's an interesting theory, I never thought about that. I don't know if anything has been said about how long the series is supposed to be, but there are definitely enough unsolved mysteries and questions to make it continue for a long time still.
Oh, and yes, Elliot. I'm worried about him, he's such an awesome character and I really don't want anything bad to happen to him. D:
It's an easy enough metaphor for the story, especially a story that has a huge clock motif, so I figured it wouldn't be too far off to use it as a gauge to see how far the story has progressed.
ooo, I have an actual outline of unanswered questions from this story saved to my hard drive. It is very long. I'm thinking about posting it at some point, just for the hell of it.
Eliot! I didn't notice it the first time around, but Lottie also recognized him, back during the school raid. So this guy apparently rewrote Lacie, has dreams about possibly participating in the massacre, and has been sorta recognized by both Alice and Lottie.
Methinks young Eliot was a Baskerville, once upon a time. Though how he ended up in the future as well, I have no clue. Could be a reincarnation of Glen, but I don't know... If nothing else, Eliot seems to put a connection between Nightray and Baskerville into the spotlight- such a connection between the houses might explain why Lottie said she was reluctant to hurt Nightray kids.
I'm unsure about Glen, too. He was portrayed as the mastermind of EVERYTHING EVIL but now, we know it isn't that way, but then it is. I'm just enjoying how all the pieces of plots are falling into the holes so neatly.
re PH icons: crysella is a beautiful, beautiful place. If not for the CLAMP-related icons, then you can check here, here, here aaaand here for all the PH-ness. And of course, I could have linked you to the tag, but I can be stupid like that sometimes, owww /o\ Do check the tag! For there are lovely colourings of Jack and Oz.
(Also, lol. I think its the silliest thing ever, but then I ran to get the epilogue and this month's raw. No resistant whatsoever.)
akl;djfalskdjf Those are so pretty! *grabs icons* Thank you! :D
(haha, I've seen those! I love how there's a panel of Demeyx and...uh...Vexion? playing twister in there.)
Is is weird that I'm more suspicious about the Alice situation than I am about the Glen one right now?
Because I really, really, really doubt that the Alice we know? Isn't Jack's sweet Alice. I think Sweet Alice is Crazy Alice. And I'm really wondering right now which Alice it was who rubbed Gil's death in Vincent's face.
(Ahahaha, that's Zexion alright. I'm reading this for the lols and silly moments like that one. And Axel, I'm sure there's going to be so much Axel.)
Jack made that clear, with how Alice "sometimes wasn't the Alice he knows/used to, with a weird/bad atmosphere around her," I'm more concerned over how he hid this from Glen whom, I think, didn't want Alice out and/or didn't want anyone to see her, assuming how he was keeping her to use her later on.
...or so I tell myself, for I only fret over that Gil and what he's going to do in the next chapter, assuming he'll find his way back to Oz D: Oh God.
