I'm currently in a similar situation, not knowing where in the country I'll be a few months from now. D: And while I'm fairly sure that I'll find a way to watch the OADs sooner or later, I'm feeling kinda nervous about the fact that that both the Holic and the TRC manga will be ending sometime this spring/summer. I wouldn't want to miss the conclusions of these series for everything in the world, not after following them for almost 5 years.

On a brighter note, it's not very long until the first OAD comes out now. :D I'm looking forward to it so much!

Next week! I really can't wait, it's going to be awesome. Plus, a new chapter. ^_^

oh, oh god, five years? XD I have so much respect for people who have followed the manga that long. Really. I got into Holic this last summer when I came back from Japan and then mainlined it and fell in love.

(I never actually read manga before; Holic was the first. I watched anime, yes, but no manga, not even when I was in Hirakata-shi. I think I started to miss Japan after I got back to the States and that made me start reading manga. ^_^;;)

Yeah. The future. Any time I start thinking of my life past the month of May, I start breathing funny...very strange...

Holic was one of the first manga I read too, although I started on Tsubasa even earlier (Tsubasa was what made me interested in Holic in the first place). The first two years or so I was following the (very slow) Swedish releases, but then I moved to a new place, got my own computer and started to discover the joys of the Internet scanlations and everything related to them. After that I've been following the new chapters on a weekly basis. So yeah, it's going to feel really weird when the stories end.

Oh, you've lived in Japan? Yes, I can imagine that such a thing can inspire you to get into manga reading. :)

Yeah, Osaka prefecture, Hirakata-shi. Four months homestay. And, haha, I had absolutely no desire to read manga while I was there. ^_^;; Once I got back, I dunno what happened, but I think I started to miss Japan and then I discovered One Manga. It was all downhill from there. I had known about Tsubasa first, in the most general of terms because I recognized the CCS characters, but it was Holic that hooked me.

So really, it was not living in Japan that inspired me to read manga. I make no sense, I know.

But hey, at least we're (fairly) certain that the series will end and we won't get a cliff hanger like X!

(please, please don't give us a cliff hanger like X)

Huh, Sweedish releases?

Off the top of my head, I think the second Tsubasa OAD comes out May15th and then Holic will come out in early June. (I want to say the ninth...?)
