I vote the hypocrisy of John Proctor, because I'm contrary.

You could also right about mob mentality, especially in regards to Mary Warren, but that might be boring.

I'm basically writing about whycome Proctor was so awesome, so I dunno. I guess he was a bit of a hypocrite, but the thing is I liked him anyways. He seemed so human, while other characters either stuck unwaveringly and boringly to their principles, or seemed capable of completely ignoring their sense of morality. I just...like woobies, I think. And poor John, despite his RUGGED MANLINESS, is kind of a woobie. <3
