Exciting! I've only ever gone to one protest (an anti-war one when I was 16, entirely peaceful), but I've been the victim of one as well, when I got pushed down, stomped on, and nearly had my ribs broken at a protest against a meeting we were holding a few years back.
Thumbs up! I'd totally join the protests, but unfortunately I'm in a different country. However, this matter is close to my heart too, as I want to do my M.A. in Britain next year. And while I come from a middle class family, and life's really not bad for me, my parents couldn't possibly afford those fees! They're downright ridiculous! I currently pay 64€ per semester (which includes a semester ticket for my city's public transport) and I dare say that - or even slightly more - is something affordable for everyone, not the shitload of money they would like us to pay. I understand that the universities need to be financed somehow, but please don't put this burden on the shoulders of us students!

I wish adults would be as brave as all the teens going out their to protest their rights.
It's just amazing how many are really fighting, instead of just sitting back like we do alot in this day and age.
