I like the content here but an lj-cut would be nice...

Amadeus has only one flaw, if I recall: nothing explodes.

I disagree on the Star Wars dialogue being cheesy. I mean, it is, but it only seems that way to us because it's been parodied and copied so many times. You have to remember that it was one of the first movies to use that kind of sci-fi/action speech; at the time it was considered brilliant, and really still should be.
A lot of the movies on this list are ones I really should see. I possibly should have used my summer break to watch 'classic' films to build up my knowledge before entering the business. But I suppose rewatching South Park counts as...I'm screwed...
I'd like to make my own list, if you don't mind :) (Not that you can stop me :P)

I have more problems with the prequels dialogue, it's just...oh god..."Are you an angel?" Go away! And the whole racial stereotypes with Jar Jar...it's all a bit messy. I'll stick to Empire.

The South Park movie is on my honourable mentions list. I know the words to all the songs. One of the best musicals of the past 20 years, no joke!

There's nothing more relaxing than singing the Blame Canada song or the Uncle one while stuck in rush hour traffic (especially if the person in front of me has a British Columbia plate).

If I ever get stressed out, I scream the lyrics of 'Kyle's Mom's A Bitch' at the top of my voice. Works every time!

Yay, someone else who has seen Quills!

Thank you dearie, I do have some guilty pleasures that sort of spoil the more acceptable films on my list. I'll save that post for another day.

Also, there's nothing irrational about hating Braveheart. :]
