After these messages!

Mum and dad are currently in Spain having a good time so I am in charge of the house! I am doing a damn fine job if I do say so myself and I'm sure Daz will agree. We've been keeping ourselves busy and gran cooked dinner for us tonight because, despite 2 years of independent living, my culinary skills are still in question. We ( Read more... )

I am ridiculously in love with Benedict Cumberbatch ever since To The Ends of The Earth, when he and Jamie Sives kept ~*looking*~ at each other.

How could anyone hate a guy with a cool name like that? I think the first thing I saw him in was the Stephen Hawking BBC biopic which I only watched because John Sessions was in it but he was fantastic in it.

Gatiss? Yay! Moffatt? Um, nevermind.

If it's any consolation, Gatiss did most of the work because Moffat left to do DW.

Ugh, my tv is broken so I can't watch Sherlock.
I can't say I want a pointless "modern adaptation" of something that reached it's peak with Jeremy Brett in the late 80s/early 90s, but I'll give it a try when it crops up on iplayer.
Mark Gatiss eh? I loved the vesuvius club, does this mean he'll be filling it with rampant gay?
But still, I'd rather it was an independent thing and not based on something which is too good to be senselessly overdone!
I'm generally not an adaptation snob but I get really tetchy about Sherlock Holmes.

I'm not really a Holmes purist because I've only read a couple of the stories for uni but I love the execution of this one. The modern day setting works really well and yes, this thing is so so gay! Gatiss is in it too and he's very devious. Still sad there won't be a Lucifer Box TV show though.

The episode's not even finished yet and I'm in love with this show. There better be a fandom!
