Whiterock reference in Sluggy?

I'm not sure how many of you read this webtoon, but this Sluggy Freelance looks like it refers to Castle Whiterock. I've read sluggy for many years now, and it thrills me to see what might be a reference to my husband's writing!

How did he get started doing what he does?

I'm living here in Seattle, gaming industry capital it seems like, and I enjoy gaming, and yet I haven't found a job I enjoy. I have a stronger passion for politics, but I do like gaming too.

It was a combination of two things. He networked his way into it. And he was very, very good at what he did. A guy who happened to be part of our gaming group out here was a freelancer for Goodman and because Adrian was a good gamer/GM, he asked Adrian to write for a project. Adrian submitted a room or three upon this guy's recommendation, and that's how it started.
