I OFTEN wonder how some defense lawyers can sleep at night. I mean, I know someone has to do it, but...doing it passionately well? What is WRONG with people?

The reason so many defense lawyers are reviled is not because of the basic parameters of their job--as you say,someone has to defend criminals. But this guy went beyond that--the arguments he used to smear the victim were just...truly repellant. She had internal bruising from the rape, bruising on her cervix--he argued she couldn't done it to herself "scrubbing vigorously" with a loofah. I mean, what the FUCK?

I blame every one of those fucking jurors. I hope they know how much they're despised. They keep giving interviews where they try to explain themselves--one came out earlier this week, one Melissa Hernandez, can't seem to shut up about it.

Now, on the eve of the two officers' sentencing for official misconduct, Hernandez has resurfaced with more of the same pointless and infuriating confessions
