Midsummer thoughts

So tired. SO tired. The joints between my thighs and my hips especially hurt. But a good tired. Midsummer went pretty well this weekend, all things considered. We had four EXCELLENT performances, and we'd never had a runthrough in the space, and most of the cast had never even seen the space before Saturday ( Read more... )

When I did an outdoor Midsummer in a community garden, the stage area was near the street entrance. The Mr. Softee guy kept parking his truck about 10 feet away from the show, letting his music play, because he would see crowds of people and figured they'd want ice cream.

I was in an outdoor production of Fiddler once and there was a petting zoo that night at the park. Far From the Home I Love was a duet between the goat and Hodel.

I don't do much in the show,
still my body is aching a bit head to toe,
must be from carrying all that equipment to and fro,
Still, was a fun weekend- thought you should know.
