Work hard so that you can get into your dream concept art studio too~!!! I wanted to tell you this but don't be lazy and STAY AWAKE when you're doing last minute homeworks from Art Center...
I know school is going to be really tough for you (w/little money, financial problems) but don't give up your dream of becoming a concept artist/character designer.
