Ahhh, nothing gets my heart pumping like some good old-fashioned Sammy whump. Having grown up on a farm, the dangers of the grain elevator are quite familiar to me. I could SMELL it.
What a deliciously descriptive fic! I think you did a wonderful job describing Sam's predicament as well as his state of mind. I loved his determination to not give up, fighting right to end.
Dean was great here, trying to calm him down and reading his facial expressions. Perfect.
I'd also like to join the list of people who would love to read a sequel to this. Can Dean fix Sam's arm? Will he still have full use of it? And how will Sam deal with the recovery time?
Thanks so much for writing and sharing, this was edge of seat drama! Take care, ;)
Excellent whump fic! Brutal, but with a great save by Dean. :)
As much as I'd like a sequel with more comfort to go with the hurt, I also really like where you chose to end it. It's a good place, where the reader can imagine what follows as happy or sad as they chose.
