Yours is the first fairly positive review I've seen on this book. I haven't read the book yet, it still sits on my nightstand to be read, though. I do plan on reading it. Someday.

I agree with your assessment, I expected more. Not enough excitement, but overall I liked the book, especially after I read so many negative reviews. And Sam got beat up, poor kid, that's always a plus in my book, or any book that is. Hugs, Vonnie

I wouldn't mind reading more of the books. I read the first two but I think I'm pretty spoiled with all the fanfic around to go chasing the books. Must see if I can snag some copies.

The comics too. I wouldn't mind looking at those.

You pretty much echo all my thoughts on this one. I know a lot of people really disliked it because of the lack of Sam and Dean. Despite that, I found the storyline pretty intriguing. So yeah, don't hate it but don't absolutely love it either.

Maybe we need to start judging these books by the facial expressions on the cover. Look at Sam's face. He's kinda "meh" read it or don't.

And Dean's like: I wouldn't if I were you.

I noticed you have a bunch new puppy pics I haven't gotten to yet. Yay!
