Kobenhavn a ball!

Godaften! I just discovered that the hotel's free wifi works in my room as well as the lobby so I can update you all from the comfort of my bedroom.

I'm having a lovely time here in Copenhagen even if it is proving a little chilly. The flight was brief and uneventful except my heart wept for one poor girl who was petrified of flying and had a hard ( Read more... )

Have incidentally been in Copenhagen this weekend too visiting my sister and I'm quite enjoying these reports of yours. It's very interesting to hear a foreigner's view on my country. :)

Chris, it's beautiful. The city is pretty, public transport is second to none, and everyone is so polite. I'm back in the UK now and currently sitting on a rail replacement bus travelling up the M1 because public transport in THIS country is the pits. It took me under two hours to travel from central Copenhagen to Heathrow and it's now going to take around five hours to get from Heathrow to York. A mere 200 miles. Stupid rail track "improvements". Notch your country's thermostat up a few degrees and bring down your prices a bit and I'll consider moving.
