Birthday, and state of the Clare

Not out and about a lot at the moment; masters course is eating all my spare time and almost everything else (bar a couple of arty things) has had to go on the back burner. I had a large think about this last weekend and the upshot is, I can't easily drop a sensible set of bits of course this year, so I'll just put up with it and do less next year
