Not gonna lie, I would watch the shit out of any of these(though Sex in the City was a white version of Living Single and then had a 2nd black version in Girlfriends. Would rather see a racebent version of Entourage tbh)

22 casts racebent

diversity, grabby hands, racebend, gimme, gender swap

*warning for random thought spillage*
I'm all over the YES for Gina Torres in anything; I love that woman so much.
Not sure why Samuel L Jackson keeps getting replaced though, poor guy.
I would watch the hell out of that Justice League line-up.
Santiago Cabrera I think would make an awesome addition to the MCU - is there some kind of crime-fighting duo we haven't had yet? He and Howard Charles need to be in everything together forever because they are SO good together and when The Musketeers is over I won't be able to take not seeing their faces six inches apart at all times.
Technically Aldis Hodge's character Jake in Supernatural was responsible for the domino effect of everything from S2 onwards.

yes to the Gina Torres love. First saw her in Xena and then Cleo2525 and I'm happy to see her in all the things.

The problem with Samuel L. is that he's in everything. He's so awesome that they created a Nick Fury that looked like him just so he could maybe play Nick Fury one day. But that means other actors don't get a chance when he's the safe choice. Who's gonna bitch about you casting him in a part? Same with Morgan Freeman and to a lesser extent Don Cheadle, Will Smith, Idris Elba and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

I only know Santiago Cabrera from Heroes, but I'm sure there's somebody in the MCU that hasn't been cast yet. I haven't been watching the Three Muskateers but seems like I need to. I love, love, love that they cast a mixed race actor in a story written by a mixed race author, with adventures based on exploits by his mixed race father.

You should definitely watch The Musketeers - it's so good! Santiago plays Aramis and Howard Charles is Porthos, and they have such good chemistry that the writers actually added scenes so they could be together more. Series 3 is going to be the last so you don't have to worry about getting really behind, and I love that they've written it in the world of the book but it's not a carbon copy so there's intrigue and things to look forward to. The pilot alone is one of the best things I've seen in years! Can you tell I'm a fan? :P
