Did anyone else get an unsolicited "Lost Password" email from Livejournal, and/or other web services last night?

"To lose one password may be regarded as a misfortune - to lose two looks like malfeasance."

I presume not, as I still have access to the accounts. I'm concerned that it was a clumsy attempt to do so though.

I don't use the same password on different accounts, and the emails I received don't include the password, just a link to change it.

For this reason, I'm quite annoyed with Tacheback, who sent me my password in plaintext in the welcome email.

This is the sort of thing which should be banned. To people who do this "YOU ARE TOO IGNORANT TO BE TRUSTED!"

I did send them a snotty email, and they responded saying they'd do better next year, but wouldn't change anything in the middle of this year's monlth long campaign.
