I do have a tendency to jump into things feet first. I picked up the name Crazy Dave because I refused to be called Keen Dave when I started invading the physics society committee meetings as a first year.

This Eastercon was where I felt like I hit the critical mass of fans I know that I didn't have to invite myself into random conversations with strangers. I still did, but it was out of choice rather than necessity.
