I know I say I usually just wait until a draft post is out of data and abandon it. I was trying to get that last one posted before the exhibition closed, but failed. At least partially due to spending the last couple of evenings working on a costume for Sunday. Anyone going to the expo?

Oh, and is anyone planning on going to Novacon and want to share a room?
Possibly. Hadn't quite decided, and haven't actually joined yet. Was toying with the idea of commuting in, but then I remembered how little fun that was last time I did it (had to leave, mid-conversation, at about 9pm, then the trains couldn't be bothered and I ended up stuck in the middle of Coventry at 1am). Were you planning on staying on the Friday and Saturday, or the Sunday too?

I've booked the Friday and Monday off work, but hadn't yet decided if I was going to stay on the Sunday night. I'd think I'd quite like to.

When is Novacon? I might sit in the bar for a day but I'm not going to the con proper.

The lumpiest-futon-in-the-world(tm) is available, if you need a crash pad in London (I just need to check with flatmate first, but he's usually okay).

Novacon's the 14th to the 16th of November.

Ooh, that sounds like a good idea...Although, I've just checked - the 30th is a Sunday isn't it? That's no good, cos I'm on a course on 1st/2nd December back at home... Who thought it was a good idea to hold a ball on a Sunday?! I'm pretty sure I'm not working the Novacon weekend though, so I'll come down to sit in the bar for a bit...
