I've never moved off of the basic LJ account, as I don't want to pay for one (I don't use this enough) and I'd feel hypercritical using the add supported version with an add blocker.

( Why I block adds, and am moving to a plus account )

Hmmm... About the Adverts!

However, Unreltated posting, I just looked at your "LibraryThing" - Cool idea, buthow do people get the time to do these cataloging type things? I'm still struggling to get time to update my Ravelry!

I grabbed all my books, hoofed um up to London, and went through one box at a time while watching an episode or two of Babylon 5 on Sundays while my girlfriend was at work (Someone had leant me the complete 5 series).

It didn't help that a whole chunk of them were too old to have barcodes, or even ISBNs.

It took a few months. I'm now well over a year behind again. Maybe I should get the the New Battlestar Gallactica on DVD.

It has come in useful a couple of times in figuring out if I needed a book to complete a trilogy.
