I've never denied being a hoarder, but I had no idea it was this bad. There's stuff EVERYWHERE: boxes piled up in the hallway and a huge mess of stuff in the bedroom. *shudders

If I lived anywhere near you, I'd totally come over and help you purge. I love getting rid of stuff--our last donation to Goodwill filled the trunk of the car. Next time, I want to fill my truck.
I've managed to throw out two big black garbage bags with clothes, packed two boxes with clothes to bring to the apartment, and I only have two more closets to clear (not counting the storage area, which I'd completely managed to ignore until now...something tells me I'll pull an all-nighter....)!
When I make a donation to Goodwill, I always go in and buy something. This week, I bought 20 or so notecards so I can send cards to Make A Child Smile charity and another scarf for my hair. But only the scarf will stay in the house compared to all the junk we got rid of.

Another popular thing is to get rid of everything you haven't used in the last two or three years. I can't seem to live by that, though. And who knows when you'll make use of that fancy stationary you bought when you were fourteen?! *g*
